HEERF Historical Reports
Historical HEERF Reports
In times of national crisis, federal support plays a vital role in maintaining educational continuity across the United States. Through emergency funding programs like the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), the U.S. Department of Education has provided colleges and universities with the resources necessary to safeguard student learning, enhance campus safety, and stabilize institutional operations. Transparency in how these funds are used is not only a compliance obligation—it’s a commitment to public accountability. At SABER College, the publication of HEERF Quarterly Reports ensures that this responsibility is fulfilled with clarity and integrity.
The HEERF Quarterly Reports page at SABER College serves as a public record of our compliance with federal emergency funding requirements. These reports demonstrate our ongoing commitment to transparency, student support, and responsible stewardship of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), which was established by the U.S. Department of Education in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
HEERF Quarterly Reports are official disclosures required of higher education institutions that received federal emergency funds under the CARES Act, CRRSAA, and the American Rescue Plan (ARP). These reports detail how those funds are allocated, distributed, and spent each quarter. They provide financial accountability and ensure that institutions use the funds for their intended purposes.
At SABER College, each quarterly report includes:
The total amount of HEERF funds received
The portion allocated directly to students
Institutional expenses covered by the funding
Remaining balances
Compliance with federal reporting timelines
These reports are reviewed and submitted by the Office of Compliance in accordance with federal guidelines.
The HEERF Quarterly Reports page is divided into two main sections for clarity and accessibility.
This section provides narrative overviews of how SABER College has used HEERF funding to support students, faculty, and institutional operations. These summaries outline our strategy and priorities during the public health emergency and describe how funds were used beyond just financial figures.
