About Our Program

The Associate of Science in Medical Assisting program at SABER College blends online coursework with on-campus lab training and a 180-hour externship at a local healthcare facility.

How to Register

Applying to the Medical Assisting program at SABER College is straightforward. Prospective students must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Submit a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent credential
  • Provide transcripts showing a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Complete the college application and a short writing sample
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
  • Complete an admissions interview and TABE placement test (waived with AA degree or higher)
